Mary Jo has been committed to developing pathways for paraeducators to meet the requirements of NCLB. She Chaired the State Task Force for how Washington would meet the Federal Paraeducator Requirements for NCLB.

She made sure the paraeducator’s voice was fully represented at these meetings and in the development of support services and the NCLB Professional Portfolio. We are fortunate to have a leader who is committed to the paraeducator profession during these changing and challenging times!
